When something only lives in the digital realm, it's like a barely remembered dream, a flash of lightning or a single breath. It gets swiped or scrolled past. At best, the images will reappear in as a digital memory prompt. But more likely, eventually they will be forgotten. In designing an album you're choosing to bring your photos into the real world where they can be enjoyed. Printed photos remind us what's important in life and prompt us to breathe in every moment.
WHY DESIGN AN ALBUM?
You just received your gallery and you're in love with your photos! Especially that one with your babe kicking her feet up in the air in her crib. Everything's been a blur since she was born, and you're so grateful that you'll have these photos to remember the craziness by.
Fast forward five years and those photos have been forgotten on the cloud. You heave a huge sigh as you stumble upon them while reminiscing before your baby starts Kindergarten.

I get it, technology is great, but it's not always reliable. But most importantly, you'll have a tangible product you can touch, feel, and breathe in. You'll get to relive your photos. And not only are you allowing those memories to sink in all the more, you're choosing to create something you can pass onto your children.

A lot of time, care, and attention to detail goes into the album creation process. The goal in designing an album is to combine my creativity with your ideas in a collaborative effort to create an incredible heirloom. Let's work together to create a family treasure.

Classic & Simple
I won't try to cram too many images on one page. It's tempting to "make the most" of each page, but this actually makes it more difficult to enjoy your images.

Cohesive & Clean
I won't mix too many colors on a single spread (I'll stick to the same scene). And I won't place black & white and color images on the same spread.

Cover Personalizations
You'll choose your absolute favorite image to place on the front cover and decide on up to three lines of text.

Professional design. First 10 spreads included in price. Cover available in a variety of fabrics, including linen, leather, velvet, & silk. Any mix of cover personalizations. Shipping & handling included. Tax not included.
ADDITIONAL EDITING:
Any images used for a large print, canvas, or album ordered through Kara Joy Photography will undergo an additional round of editing (to touch up blemishes, lint on clothing, etc.) to be sure everything looks great at a larger size! I also take care of the cropping.
