These photos are from an in-home family lifestyle session in Elk River, MN. We had a lot we wanted to cover in an hour, including highlighting the use of Norwex products, drinking tea, and capturing family connection.
What I loved about this session: The kids, as is usually the case! It's so fun to play games with kids during photo shoots. I also loved the challenges! I took photos in a dark, basement laundry room and in an office that had a lot of items in it. I love that I was still able to use natural light, and you can't tell there was a little clutter! I also enjoyed driving to Elk River from Maple Grove. It was quiet and out of my norm. Finally, Angie gave me some Norwex products to try, and they are AMAZING.
Another challenge I overcame during this session: Since there were specific things that needed to be highlighted during this shoot, we had a list of different types of photos we wanted to get through...along with my own ideas. We spent ten minute chunks on each idea and powered through! The laundry room was the biggest challenge. I was able to work with only the small window and turn off the overhead light. I even hoisted myself up onto the dryer to get a different angle of the little girl, ha!
I'm so excited that I get to post ALL the images I edited, since they've all been purchased!
